Inventory
Database
The Inventory Database tracks the
dispensing behavior of about 1000
veterinary clinics in the United States.
The Inventory database can be used
to generate product, region and diagnosis
reports of dispensing data. See the
Inventory
Tracking Study for more
information about these reports.

 There
are two main types of data cleaning
that is performed on the Inventory
database to ensure integrity.
• New Integrity: locates and identifies
errors
• Outliers:
|
• Highlights adnormal deviations
for a given clinic
•
Shows the dispensed amount for
the same clinic up to a year back.
• Calculates averages
on a per vet basis.
• Abnormal dispensed
clinics are placed in exclusion
table. |
