MDI’s primary focus is syndication tracking studies, but we have successfully completed many custom studies over the last 12 years. These studies are primarily performed as a service to our key clients, in areas where our database and knowledge provide unique resources. For example, brand-switching research can be conducted using clinics and practitioners from MDI’s database.
 
 
Custom studies have been successfully performed for many clients, including Merial, Abbott, Novartis (formerly Ciga-Geigy), Sims Deltec, Alaris, Proctor & Gamble and McGaw. These quantitative marketing research studies were performed primarily in the areas of hospitals and animal health, by MDI’s professional research staff. Qualitative studies will be available from MDI in the future.
